CM360 GRP reports and dfareporting API

Hi,

I was wandering whether GRP reports even work with dfareporting API. I'm using the v3.5-rev20211130-1.32.1 version of google-api-services-dfareporting SDK.

When I try to list all the reports in the profile, eg.

api.reports().list(profile.profileId).setScope("ALL").setPageToken(..)

..it lists all the reports, but GRP reports, which I have few, are not present in the result.

What am I missing?

Please be reminded that we can only give technical support specific to API concerns. With regards to your concern, this is the list of all the metrics and dimensions that can be supplied in your reports. However, would you be able to confirm what you meant by GRP reports?

 

On the other hand, have you tried listing all the reports in CM360 UI side and found the same issue? Kindly share to us the generated response from API vs the generated list in the UI side and highlight the unexpected difference that it returns.

Aside from the asks above, please do share with us also the following information for further investigation:

• DCM Account ID
• Profile ID used in request call
• URL endpoint is the reports.list method (please confirm)

Hi Michael,

GRP is the report type in Campaign Manager 360 UI. It is listed among other types, like Standard, Floodlight, Path to Conversion, Reach, Cookie Reach Overlap, etc. It's one of the options, when you press dropdown to create new Report.

The UI lists GRP reports no problem, I can also create them, execute them and download results. The table, which lists them has Report Type column with value GRP for the report in question.

The API lists all the reports that I can see in UI, except for GRP reports. They are missing completely. Interesting enough, the response is paginated with page size 10. But some pages (not the last one) has less than 10 elements, as if there are gaps where GRP reports were removed.

I've also tried to access GRP report directly by it's id (via https://developers.google.com/doubleclick-advertisers/rest/v3.5/reports/get endpoint).

Got pretty "dead-end" error:

> The report with id ## has a report type not supported by the API at this time.

Was wandering maybe there are other ways to access such reports.
