Hi CM360 API Support Team and Community,
Since September 10, 2025, we’ve been experiencing frequent 503 "UNAVAILABLE" error responses when making POST requests to https://dfareporting.googleapis.com/dfareporting/v4/userprofiles/XXX/conversions/batchinsert. These errors occur multiple times daily. We’ve been using this API since December 2023 without issues until now, so the sudden increase in 503 errors is unexpected.
To mitigate this on our end, we’ve implemented exponential backoff in our client, which has resolved the issue for us by retrying failed requests. However, the sudden onset and frequency of these errors seem unusual, and I’m concerned there might be an underlying issue on the server side.
Could the DCM API Technical Support Team investigate what might be causing this behavior? For context, we’re using the Google API Client Library with Java, and the errors started occurring without any changes to our code or configuration.
Any insights or updates would be greatly appreciated. Happy to provide more details if needed!
Thanks,
Hendrik Boon
