Creative Asset Extraction from DCM Platform

We would like to extract all assets/creatives for the campaigns that we ran before on DCM, is there any way we could make it happen?

Hi Nicole,

You can use the Creative.list service provided by the DCM API to retrieve the creatives and creative assets. Pass the campaignId as the optional parameter to retrieve creatives and creative assets associated to a specific campaign.

By using the creative.list, I can see detailed information of each creatives. However, is there anyway to download creatives in jpg format or any image file format?

We produce reporting dashboards and our clients wanna see results segmented by creative, and they want to see the actual creatives within the dashboard.

Is there any possible way to do that?

for us it's possible to download the creative assets for image ads.

You can pull the image directly from: 

https://s0.2mdn.net/[advertiserId]/[asset_name]

From the api we grap the advertiserId and the name of the asset we want to download.

Example:

advertiserId = 123

creativename = xyz.jpg

=>

https://s0.2mdn.net/123/xyz.jpg

In case of html5 ads you'll get the complete iframe-url/src, so if you build a web dashboard you could also include html5 ads via iframe.

Thank you for reaching out to us. As per checking, currently this feature is not supported on DCM API. A feature request has been submitted related to this and currently being reviewed by the team. For the meantime, you may want to check the other developers suggestion as a workaround.

Asset Names should be part of the creative. You can try https://developers.devsite.corp.google.com/doubleclick-advertisers/rest/v3.5/creatives/get  to fetch a creative by ID, and look through its creative assets to get creative assets list.
