got errors for DirectorySite url

Hello,

What is the requirement for url of a DirectorySite and what is the relation between DirectorySite, Site and Placement?  

I tried some test urls and got errors like 'Directory site URL already exists.' or ' Site URL xxx is not valid'

Any ideas?

Hi,

I am able to reproduce these errors on my end:

1. Directory site URL already exists: When I am trying to insert the Directory site url that already exists in my DCM account
   
2. Site URL xxx is not valid: If I am not giving a valid site URL. For example giving www.mywebsite.com instead of http://mywebsite.com
