Hi ,
I am triggering the API (batchinsert) with multiple gclid say approx.10,000 times a day and i am only seeing around 1500 count in the DCM report. Does anyone know how google filters out 80% of the conversions and records only 20%.Is there any limitations on the API.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks !

Hi Richard,

Are you able to see, if the uploaded conversions are successful, in your returned ConversionsBatchInsertResponse? If the status of each conversion is successful, you should be able to verify that the uploaded conversion was processed or not. This can be done by running the Floodlight Impressions report, as elaborated in this section of guide.

Hey Dhanya,
In the very first conversion through API (for each gclid) i am getting a status "GCLID not found" even though i come from a valid ad. What could be the problem here? Note:All the subsequent conversions are fired fine without the message.
Cheers,
Richy

Hi Richy,

A NOT_FOUND response indicates that the click was never recorded by DoubleClick or by the DCM ad server (eg, it was collected from an AdWords click redirect but not through DoubleClick). Also, the timestamp of a conversion can be at most 28 days old from the time of submission. If this does not answer your question, could you please reply back with the request and response of the error in JSON format for a conversion that happened recently(in the last 7 days), so that we can troubleshoot further?
