Hi,  I am trying to set up CM360 API but keep getting 404 errors. I have added the scope to my GC project. However, on Campaign managers 360 I have done nothing about adding the project. I can't see Network setting or API access on CM360. Also, no-one knows who is the network admin. How can I resolve this?

Hi,

Thank you for reaching out to the DCM API support team.

If you are looking to get access to the DCMAPI , I would recommend you to follow the guide describing how to get started with the Campaign Manager API. All requests you make to the Display & Video 360 API must be authorized.

To use DCM API, go to the Google Cloud Console to manage your project. Enable the appropriate API by searching for it in the API Library. Then, go to the “APIs & Services” section to create OAuth 2.0 credentials that will provide your Client ID and Client Secret. Google APIs rely on the OAuth 2.0 protocol for secure authentication and authorization. To understand this process, refer to the OAuth 2.0 Overview, which outlines how to authorize requests and obtain an access token. For longer-term access, you'll also want to get a refresh token. When working with the DCM API, ensure your application includes the necessary OAuth 2.0 scopes and uses your registered credentials. Can you please share us with the complete JSON request and response logs for the 404 errors.

Kindly check with the GCP cloud support team via this link if you need assistance on oauth related queries.

You can send them via Reply privately to the author or Direct reply to this email option.

Thanks,

Hi,

As suggested earlier, kindly reach out to the GCP cloud support team via this link, as your issues are related to the OAuth-related queries, and the GCP support team is better equipped to assist you on this.

Please note that we can only assist with technical issues or concerns related to the DCM API

Thanks,

Hi Rahul,

To begin, you must create or select an existing project within the Google API Console and then enable the Campaign Manager 360 API for that project. You can refer to this guide as it explains the step by step process on how to enable the API in your GCP project. Furthermore, upon reviewing the logs from your previous email, we have determined that you are currently using v3.5 of the API. This version is not only deprecated but has also reached its sunset phase. The primary reason you are currently encountering 404 error codes is directly attributed to the use of this sunset version. We strongly recommend that you upgrade your API implementation to the latest version, v5. Once the upgrade is complete, I would suggest you to re-attempt your API calls and inform us of the results.

For a comprehensive understanding of the deprecation timelines, we suggest you to review the Deprecation Schedule guide. Specifically, this blog post confirms that v3.5 reached its official sunset date on February 15, 2023. Since this version is now completely sunset, any attempts to execute API calls using v3.5 will by design result in a 404 error (Not Found).

Thanks,

Hi,

This is to do with the campaign manager api. It's about how to allow the google consol project to be enabled on a campaign manager workspace. Who enables it? Where is the setting to allow the google console project to connect via the api? The link you sent, I don't know where to make a ticket regarding to this. Could you please point this out?

Thanks,
Rahul
