Service Account + prn

Is it possible to use a Service Account with prn to access creative approval status and upload creatives for approval? This is for automating the creative approval management for RTB (aka hundreds of creatives in bulk) using ADX RestAPI + OAuth2 with Service Account.

 

For DFA (https://developers.google.com/doubleclick-publishers/docs/service_accounts) one must have a registered Google App Domain to be able to manage impersonation access. Wondering if it is the same for ADX and if one really must buy a service they never use or did I misunderstand the whole Service Account impersonation process?

The solution is the Installed App Flow. (https://developers.google.com/accounts/docs/OAuth2InstalledApp)

 

- Created new Client ID for Installed Application in the API console (https://code.google.com/apis/console/)

- Got an auth code and used that to get the refresh token

- Using the refresh token the script could authenticate correctly and get access to all creative snippet status
