Source for Gender & Age

Hi Guys,

I only recently started to bid on traffic from Google Adx (RTB) i see that most of the impressions lack the information about

the user gender and Age,

i wonder who is the sources of this data ? is it Google or the Publisher ?

(if it's google data i guess i can trust it but if that the publisher i am not sure)

Hello Erez,

It's not unusual for UserDemographic data to be sent infrequently. That data is provided by the publisher (check realtime-bidding.proto) and only a limited number are currently participating.

Does google verify the demographic (gender/age) data that the publisher sends or is it 100% up to the publisher ?

Do you know whether DBM (Google DSP) have better segmentation options than Adx (I am currently using Google Adx) ?
