OTT/CTV bulk uploader

We are using bulk uploader https://cm.g.doubleclick.net/upload to upload user data.

Can we use the same bulk uploader (or any other api) to pass in OTT/CTV Ids?

Hello Rashmi,

I'm not familiar with those ID types off-hand, but I can confirm that the bulk uploader utility supports only the Google user ID, iOS advertising ID, and android advertising ID. You can determine the supported types via the UserIdType defined in the proto file for the service.

Thank you for your response. Much appreciated. By OTT I mean Roku Advertising Id, Apple TV Advertising Id etc. 

Also, under supported Ids iOS Advertising Id is listed, so under that do you support  Apple TV Advertising Id too, or it's just Apple Mobile Advertising Id ( IDFA)?

No, the Apple TV ID is not supported at this time. The IDFA mentioned in the proto file is referring to the advertising ID for iOS devices.

Hi Cassandra,

From https://developers.google.com/authorized-buyers/rtb/downloads/cookie-bulk-upload-proto, since there isn't an Apple TV identifier, you can use GENERIC_DEVICE_ID as the UserIdType.

Hi Google team, 

We have a few other types of CTV IDs such as TIFA (Samsung ctv ids), LG smart tv ID. Should we be sending those IDs as GENERIC_DEVICE_ID too?

Yes that is correct.
You can also send those as GENERIC_DEVICE_ID.
