When querying the API for performance data the calloutStatusRate data is duplicated in the creativeStatusRate instead of the real creativeCallout information:

My understanding is that the expected result supposed to be the data reflecting creative post-filtered rates using codes from https://storage.googleapis.com/adx-rtb-dictionaries/creative-status-codes.txt and providing similar information we can see on the RTB dashboard (https://www.google.com/adx/Main.html?pli=1#BIDDING/) "Filtered Bids" tab. Am I wrong and the data in creativeStatusRate correctly duplicates calloutStatusRate's data?

Hello Gabor,

Yes, this doesn't appear to be correct. The values in creative-status-codes.txt and callout-status-codes.txt represent different things, so it would be extraordinarily unlikely for them to be identical. I'll get in touch with the engineering team and see if we can figure out what is going on here. I'll keep you updated as I get more information.

Hello Gabor,

Just thought I'd provide an update. This bug should be resolved by the end of this week, as the fix will roll out with the upcoming release.

Mark Saniscalchi

Wow, great to know that it's being resolved but also disappointing that it's taken nearly 6 months for this bug to be fixed since I firtst reported it to my TAM.

Hello Daniel,

I'm sorry to hear that it took so long for a fix after you reported this; I wasn't aware of this issue until Gabor's report. If you find that an issue with the API you've brought up with your TAM isn't getting addressed, feel free to bring it up with us via the support alias or these forums and we'll advocate for a fix.

Regards,
Mark Saniscalchi

Hello Mark,

End of last week passed and still no new release of the API. I guess some unexpected issue is delaying the release. Is there any ETA? I see on Github the jnode implementation already bumped the version to 1.0.4 but no actual related codechange was made yet.

Thnx.

Hello Gabor,

When I mentioned a release, I was referring to an internal one; the API version wouldn't change as a result of this. Sorry if this wasn't clear. As far as I'm aware, this fix should have rolled out by now; are you still having this issue?

Regards,
Mark

Hello Gabor,

That's really odd. I got confirmation a little after my last response that this fix should have been applied. I'll get in contact with the engineer involved and see if we can figure out what happened.

Mark

Hi Mark,

The API is returning the correct data for creative statuses now. Thank you again for helping to fix this.
