How does OpenRTB based bidder gets win notification if bid.nurl is not support?

If my bidder supports OpenRTB (protobuf), and it is written, bid.nurl is not supported.
How does Google lets know that bidder won the auction?

Hello Gagan,

DoubleClick currently doesn't support win notices as implemented in OpenRTB. The documentation in the OpenRTB proto indicates that you can use the winning price macro in the snippet's impression URL to accomplish this.

That's a pretty good question. I would be inclined to say that it should be supported, based on this. That said, even I can't find content in the official documentation that confirms this, so I'd like to verify whether we support this internally. I'll update this thread (and perhaps the documentation) when I have an answer for you.

I can confirm my findings from the google/openrtb-doubleclick project; we do support OpenRTB macros. In the near future, we'll be making an update to the Response Guide that mentions this.
