Two files failed to upload and I cannot figure out what the problem
is. Both are just normal word documents:

1. [9/38] C:\Users\kelly.ng\Desktop\FutureCampus 2011\Production
\FutureCampus ASEAN
2011 Draft Programme 14 Feb 2011.doc
- Upload error: Could not convert document.
- Another try...
- Upload error: Could not convert document.

- Skipped

2. [13/38] C:\Users\kelly.ng\Desktop\FutureCampus 2011\Production
\Project Brief for
FutureCampus Forum ASEAN 2011.docx
- Upload error: Could not convert document.

I'm using 1.4.5.jar on Windows 7.

Hi Kelly,

Is this problem with just two specific files? Can other word documents be uploaded successfully? Can you upload these files with conversion using the web interface?

The problem might be with the content of the documents. For example, the Google Docs system might not be able to convert some pictures into its internal format for some reason.

Best regards,
Anton

Thanks Anton.

Yes, the problem is just specific to the two files, other word
documents uploaded successfully.

I tried uploading using the web interface, it failed too. I realise
that I cannot convert documents over 1 MB.

Is there a way to run the batch upload such that word documents (and
any other convertable files) over the size limit does not get
converted?

Regards
Kelly

Hi Kelly,

You are right, there are strict size limits on convertible documents. As I know, if a document exceeds the size limit, the only way to upload it is without conversion. However, uploading without conversion is available only for business accounts.

Best regards,
Anton
