根据美国营养学会的建议:成人每消耗1千卡热量,至少需要1ml水。婴幼儿的体表面积相对较大,身体中水分所占的比例较多,新陈代谢率较高,而肾脏排泄废物的能力相对较弱,容易发生脱水。水占婴幼儿体重的70%-80%,所以水对婴幼儿很重要。水除了在机体组织器官起着运输营养和排泄物的作用外,还能起到调节体温、维持血容量、维持腺体正常分泌等生理功能。婴幼儿需要的水相对较成人多,以每千卡热量1.5ml为宜。一般,除了每天600-1000ml左右不等的奶制品以外,婴儿每千克体重每天需要150ml左右的水。
