I have installed limiter and it counts up ok but nothing happens when
it reaches the set time. What is it supposed to do?

It's supposed to say 'Finished' under the Task, and play a small sound
(notify.wav from the Media folder of the operating system). Doesn't it
do this for you?

No, I do not see the "Finished" message or hear the sound. It continues
to count up past the limit but that is probably intended.

Windows XP Notify.wav
notify.wav

both of these files exist in the WINDOWS/Media directory and play fine.

Sounds are reset to Windows default.

Well, then, are you sure you set the time limit right? for example, if you want to set it to a minute you should write 0:1:0, not 00:01:00, or something like that. Can you tell me what you wrote in 'Options'?

Thanks, Teo.

That was it! I entered the time as 00:01:00 format. It works as
described now; I really like it. Now I can put away the kitchen timer
that gets me laughed at.

BTW, there is no indication in the docs or on the site that it should
make a sound. I did not know that it was not working right until I read
the note about an alarm in the 2.0 notes.

Thanks again.
