It would be nice to have a simple field to enter a description of what
you will be tracking time for and when you click stop be reported on a
txt. When you add a new description and press start, it would start
tracking this new item. Once you press stop again, the description and
start/end time would be appended to the same txt/excel/xml... whatever
to end up having something like:

[Date]
9:30
task a
9:45
task b
13:15
task c
14:45
task d
15:15

maybe even have a list of previously used item names (used during the
current day) to select from.

Hi teo
the report is nice idea and if count down buzzer can be add such as
"AleJenJes Timer " that would be even better. If 2 or more [not too
many] can be run from the same place it would be great.

Love this idea!! Especially as I can see it being used for tracking
kid's time on computers. Son was on 2 hours, daughter on for 4 hours
and see who the monitor hog really is. <grin> Too bad it wouldn't
plug in that time on X-box.

Hi,
until now i've managed to implement more tasks and separate alarms -
haven't had too much time :|
But, i'll see what i can do with the specific monitoring tasks you guys
mentioned :)

Nice to now Limiter helps :)

Hi Teo,
The addition of the Naming of Tasks & a log would make this a
fantastic gadget.

At the moment I track time in a variety of frustrating ways. This is
very close already to being EXACTLY what I and many others need - in
fact - it's why I downloaded the latest version of Google Desktop :-)))
- and would fit the bill perfectly with the suggested tweaks. Clean,
simple, aggravation free. - Perfect for those like me who flit between
tasks and are careless with tracking because it's such a PITA to do.

Just thought of another Option - A tick box, or similar, to choose
whether the task time keeps accumulating when you switch to another
task or stops & restarts when you reselect it. - I'm getting carried
away now!!!
