Hi Adam,

I have redacted your post online since the post contains sensitive information. For any future posts, please make sure not to post sensitive information on the forum. As per the guide, one should receive an email to approve or reject the request:
https://developers.google.com/shopping-content/guides/how-tos/lia/link-gmb?hl=en
Share the following details using 'Reply privately to author' option:
  1. the complete screenshot of where you are seeing this
  2. include the API response for the given call
________________________________________________________________________________________
I call https://shoppingcontent.googleapis.com/content/v2.1/xxxxxxxxx/liasettings/xxxxxx/requestgmbaccess?gmbEmail=xxxxxxxx

And instead of linking my account, it's adding a weird account in a "pending" status.

All I can see from the other account is "ad...@..."

but as you can see from my API call, I'm making the call to link my own account. Why is this happening?I want to link my own account and choose my business group through the API

Thanks,

Indeed after a few hours I got an email asking to approve the link.

However, If I link through the UI, it immediately approves, without needing to approve via email.

How do I replicate that through the API?

We have thousands of businesses we manage, we need a scalable solution
