to Google Contacts API
Folks;

Could someone from Google please clarify the following:

In the browser interface to Google Contacts there is a Google created
group named: "My Contacts".
There is another Google created group named "All Contacts"

1) What is the difference from the browser users perspective?

2) How does the API provide access to the members of these groups?

I have been successful at obtaining the 'My Contacts' group but some
users apparantly have contacts in "All Contacts", which are not in
their "My Contacts". I personally have never seen that in my own or
any testing account. How did that situation arise and how can I
obtain those contacts thru the API?

Thanks for the clarification,
Steve

Hi Steve,

All Contacts shows everything, it includes the Suggested Contacts,
using the API this would be the regular feed:
http://www.google.com/m8/feeds/contacts/default/full

My Contacts is a System Group and is a subset of All Contacts,
contacts on this group have the GroupMembershipInfo for My Contacts,
for example:
<gContact:groupMembershipInfo deleted='false' href='http://
www.google.com/m8/feeds/groups/julian%40juliantoledo.com/base/6' />

The following blog post explains few last changes:

Cheers,
Julian.
