to Google Contacts API
Folks;

In doing testing for the Contact API so far I have been using my
personal GMail account.
Is there any facility to setup a 'test-only' account?
What does Google recommend?

Thanks,
Steve

Hi Steve,
It's definitely a good idea to have a separate account for development
purposes when using any of the APIs, that way if something goes wrong
while you're writing your application there's no risk of deleting
important information.

There's no special facility to create a "test-only" account. Instead,
just go ahead and create a brand new GMail account:

1. Sign out of your existing GMail/Google account.
2. Go to http//www.gmail.com (if you're not already there).
3. Click the "Sign Up For GMail" link.
4. Fill out the form, making sure to choose a new login name during the process.

You'll then be able to switch between your accounts by signing out and
signing back in using the appropriate login name and password.
