attach documents (PDF, other) to contacts

I am looking for a way to attach/add documents to a contact in Google
Contacts.Anybody know if this is possible and how to do it?

Hello,

Unfortunately, it is not possible to attache a blob to a contact. You can however attach a link to a contact using one of the multiple field available.

If you upload your document to Google Docs (using the Documents List API), you can retrieve the document's external link and attach it to the contact.

I too would like this functionality.  

We have a small business with paperwork for individual clients, and I would like to be able to scan those documents into PDF files, and then upload and associate them with the respective client.

But OK...since that feature is not available, Alain, could you explain what you mean by "using the documents list API"?
