For many Cloud SQL customers, the holiday shopping season, including "Black Friday" and "Cyber Monday", is a time of peak load that requires heightened focus on infrastructure stability. In support of these customers, Cloud SQL will not perform regular maintenance that incurs downtime starting November 1, 2019 through January 6, 2020.
Note: If emergency maintenance is required to address a time-sensitive issue (e.g. a security vulnerability), Cloud SQL will perform maintenance during the time-period listed above. Emergency maintenance events are rare. Regular maintenance will resume in customer defined maintenance windows on or after January 6, 2020.
