Good news everyone!
We just made managing your App Engine applications from the command line a lot easier. The command line tooling in the Cloud SDK for App Engine has gone GA. The Cloud SDK provides the `gcloud app` commands which make it easier to interact with App Engine using both the Standard and Flexible environments. Â
This release includes commands that allow deploying your code:
It includes new commands that make it easy to work with services, versions, and instances:
gcloud app services set-traffic
gcloud app instances enable-debug
And it includes commands that make it easier to perform common tasks:
This is just the beginning of the work we have planned for the Cloud SDK and App Engine. Over the coming months we’re going to continue adding more commands, extending our support to more tools, and improving the overall experience. Â
