Unable to use Firestore due to Datastore

Hello, we are having issues getting started with Firestore in a specific project. Every time we try to click on "Create Database" within the project it returns with an error mentioning that datastore is already in use. 

We tested Datastore but decided against it in favor of firestore and can't get around it now. Can someone please assist us in a way to resolve this?
