Hello,

To try Google Cloud, I would like to start the GCP free trial.

The problem is that in the registration process, it does not accept my payment and I cannot link a billing account to my Google Cloud.

I have a google pay profile with PayPal payment method and whenever I want to link my existing google pay profile to Google Cloud, I receive the following error:

This action couldn't be completed. Try again with a different payment method. Learn more [OR-ACH-04]

I should add this point that my google pay profile and this payment method is working with Google Drive without any problem and I already Subscribe to google drive with this payment method and bought extra google drive space.

The other point is that I do not have credit card and I only want to link my PayPal account to my google pay profile.

I would appreciate if someone could help me solve this error.

Best regards.

I also found this post which I believe is for accepted payment methods for Google Drive. So there may be more restrictions related to GCP for using PayPal as a payment methods versus Google Drive.

I believe you can use Google Pay with PayPal linked to your account so long as it's supported in your country. It's mentioned on this page in the GCP documentation that PayPal is accepted but this is dependent on the country you're in. As for Google Drive it looks like there is not restrictions on using PayPal regardless of where you live

If this isn't possible, then you could try linking a debit card as another option that's available to you. There's very rare cases where debit cards aren't accepted for example in Vietnam or Mexico

You can view all the supported payment options found in the GCP public documentation, if you would like to explore your options.

Hopefully this helps out.
