Hi,

yesterday Trust & Safety team asked me to fulfill requirements for the privacy policy for OAuth Consent Screen.

They send an automated message contains multiple bulletpoints as requirements.

I realized we didnt fulfill 2 of them and rest were fine.

I explained that we took action about those missing requirements and I explained each other already fulfilled requirements to make everything clear.

I told them that the privacy policy is accessible at footer of our homepage.

Now I get the e-mail (1 day after) that I need to make the privacy policy accessible.

This is really frustrating.

I am developing an android app for users. Those users are by default google's customers.

I submit a verification for some scopes to offer better user experience for google's customers. But some people in google does not share the same motivation, which I can understand by simply their respond to my detailed (5x detailed here) response.

Now I have took a screenshot and pointed where they should look at, like they are 5 years old. And I am 100% sure that I will get a respond 24 hours later like it happened today. This automated pattern annoys much more.

I really want to make google aware of this.

It is frustrating to get automated messages, when developers, businesses give their valuable time and money to achieve something.

I hope, someone from google reads this and addresses the issue. I don't care if my problem gets solved, the damage is already done for my side. But I hope my post stays forever as a mark.

@cumhur I have had many similar experiences with Google, involving both Google Cloud and Android. I've learned  that other companies, such as Apple and Amazon, do a much better job of providing platforms for customers. The platform problems are long-standing and well-documented. See, for instance: https://gist.github.com/chitchcock/1281611.

Good luck!
