Hi,

I was trying out the new support added to ''bq* command: "Added support for setting and getting IAM policies: bq get-iam-policy <resource> [<json_file_name>]."  (Google Cloud SDK 260.0.0 https://cloud.google.com/sdk/docs/release-notes#bigquery)

When I run:
bq get-iam-policy [my-resource_name]
I get:
FATAL Command 'get-iam-policy' unknown
Run 'bq help' to get help

"bq help" does not have this command either.

my gcloud version returns:
Google Cloud SDK 260.0.0
alpha 2019.05.17
app-engine-python 1.9.86
app-engine-python-extras 1.9.86
beta 2019.05.17
bq 2.0.47
cloud-datastore-emulator 2.1.0
core 2019.08.23
datalab 20190610
gsutil 4.42
kubectl 2019.08.23
pubsub-emulator 2019.08.16

Am I missing something?

Thanks.

Sandra

After doing tests on my end, I reached out to the Cloud SDK product team so that they can resolve this issue. “bq get-iam-policy” is not working on the Cloud SDK versions 260.0.0 or 261.0.0.

You can follow up on their investigation on this issue tracker.
