API for adding Payment method for Google Cloud Billing Account

Is there any API for Google Cloud - that allows you to create billing payment method to be created?

I can create a billing account for Google Cloud using an API https://cloud.google.com/billing/reference/rest/v1/billingAccounts, however I can't seem to find a way to add payment method to this billing account.

Did any one ran in this problem before?

You'll find the general description of the API on the Get Started with the Google Cloud Billing API page. There is no method allowing you to add a payment method to a billing account: 

With this API, you can do any of the following:

• Get a list of all your Cloud Billing Accounts.
• Get information about a particular Cloud Billing Account.
• List any Google Cloud Platform project associated with a Cloud Billing Account.
• Get billing information for a GCP project.
• Enable billing on a GCP project (by associating it with a Cloud Billing Account).
• Disable billing on a GCP project (by removing its Cloud Billing Account).
• Change which Cloud Billing Account is associated with a GCP project.

Payments contacts and notification options are managed from the Payment settings page. Change Payments Contacts and Notifications offers more related information.

Hi Farhan, 

How did you create billing account using API can you throw some light on this.

As I currently look at the documentation it says we can only create sub-billing accounts using API. I currently have this requirement hence will you able to help?
