Thank you for sharing your concern with us. This issue should be reported in the Public Issue Tracker for further investigation. I suggest you open a new issue under the Google Cloud Console issues.  Please provide additional information there, of interest:
- Did you start observing this behavior recently? Do you have a start date for this?
- Do you observe this in all browsers?
- Can you describe more about what you mean with "it never properly logs you out" If possible, please share screenshots
- Any other pertinent information that you want to share with us.

Hello Clive D,

This happens because when you have the Cloud Console opened with Google Account #1, the project is set on the Console top left corner. However, when you switch to Google account #2, the project that was set does not change, so the Cloud Console will just search for the last project set. You would need to manually set the proper project when you switch to your Google account #2 in the left top corner, you should see that it says “Project” and you would just need to select the desired project instead of switching to another browser. If you believe that it is critical for the project to automatically switch when switching Google accounts, here is the correct link for you to report this in the Google Issue Tracker where it would be evaluated and depending on the outcome of the evaluation, it could end up being a defect or feature request.
