GCP workflows sleep limit

Hey all,

I reading the workflows docs and I'm wondering if there any limit on the sleeping step.

Is it possible to use it for long sleep for example for 24 hours and then continue to the next step?

Hello Miki,

There is no limit on the sleep step in Google Cloud Workflows, so yes - you should be able to pause the workflow execution for 86400 seconds (24h) and then continue to the next step.
However, please keep in mind that Workflows have an execution duration limit of 1 year, which may not be exceeded.
