Setting up my first CI/CD paths with Cloud Build and came up with the following obstacle.

When creating the trigger, Cloud Build asks for the repository but only shows once that are directly under my personal GitHub account. I was trying to find our company repos, which I regularly use with this account and have access to, but they are not there.

I'd like to know the current Cloud Build GitHub integration limitations, as to what kind of GitHub accounts are supported, and how. We are looking for Cloud Build as a team-wide tool at work, so this is important for us.

The documentation I have gone through did not mention anything related to restrictions with regard to GitHub account types, for example.

Hi Asko,

As mentioned in the documentation:

"For external repositories, such as GitHub and Bitbucket, you must have owner-level permissions for the Cloud Platform project with which you're working. When you set up a build trigger with an external repository for the first time, you'll need to set up authorization with that repository."

You should also have the admin permission on the repository to trigger the build.

You may also take a look at this thread in Stack overflow which is answered by Google specialists. I couldn't find any limitation on using GitHub, however quota limits should be considered for the builds.
