Hello people.

I am tinkering around on a java program using Googles TTS API, but the REST approach described on the API Guide does not work. I get 404 (Not Found).
What I'm doing is (ab)using htmlunit, disguised as a Firefox to retrieve the data via POST request. But even if I am typing the URL in my browser, it brings me to the 404 page.
Any idea what's up with that?

I know there is also a java library, but I find using it way more complicated and therefore less appealing. Also it didn't work out either. I set the environment variable to my service acount key's path and still got an exception about the credentials not being "available".

I would prefer to get approach 1 to work, but any kind of tipps are appreciated.
Thanks

Hi Daniel,

I should note that Google Groups are reserved for general Google Cloud Platform-end product discussions and not for technical questions. For technical questions, I recommend that you post your full detailed question to Stack Overflow, using the supported Cloud tags, along with the request you send to the Cloud Text-to-Speech API and the error message you get so that we would be able to help you efficiently.
