Hello,

I'd like to know the daily resource information (resource usage, cost, etc.) of the projects in the Parent Billing Account.
I created and checked the cost BigQuery of GCP and found that there was no resource information.

Want to know the information of each resource used by billing subaccounts, projects in the GCP.
How does Parent Billing Account identify the resource information of the lower projects?

For AWS, the cost&usage report(CUR) includes usage and cost information for each linked account resource.
So, I can get a lot of information from the cost&usage report alone.
Similarly, is there a way to get resource information in GCP?

Asset Inventory seems to be a similar service to "AWS Config", is it correct?
(Additional settings are needed, and costs are likely to be added.)

Without the need to add permissions to Billing SubAccount.
I want to know the information at the top with low cost.

I will going to create a cloud management platform.
As a partner, I will attract other companies.

You can visualize spend over time with Google Data Studio[1], get up-to-date Cloud Billing graphs throughout the day, and use labels to slice and dice your Google Cloud bill the way you want by combining Cloud Billing data export to BigQuery functionality with Google Data Studio.

Thank you for your reply.
As you told me, I checked that data studio supports visualization with cost by team, cost by service, etc.
I understand that I can group costs by labeling them.

What I really want to know is the source data that gives me information about detailed resource quantities and usage, and the cost of one particular resource.
Cloud Billing BigQuery data does not contain the number of resources used, resource IDs, and so on.

How do I get this information?
For example, you would like to know how many Compute engines you have in your project, the resource ID of Compute Engine that charges the most, and Cloud Storage.

Hi,

You may refer to the documentation for guidance on how to use billing reports. You can customize your report views using various grouping and filtering options available to collect the billing information you desire. Hope it helps!
