Does cloud datastore and bigtable contain structured data?

Hi All, 

Please review the snapshot attached. The first decision box says "Is your data structured?". My question is why Cloud datastore and big table passed this decision gate? Also, another Decision gate called "Is your data relation" is present which then filters relational and non-relational db? Relational databases like cloud sql and spanner contain structured data while NoSql databases are document oriented. Please explain

Hi Pooja,

The term "structured" is being used here in a little bit of a different way from how you're using it. The examples given for non-structured data are "Cloud Storage" and "Cloud Storage for Firebase", which just store blobs of data (e.g. a video file, or arbitrary binary data). Documents in a document-oriented database still have structure, even though they are not relational.
