WARNING: Scam Call claiming to be Google Cloud

Today I got a rather sophisticated scam call from someone claiming to be from the Google Cloud Team. She called herself "Marty".

They had my first name, and claimed that they had questions about my Google Cloud account.

The phone number they called from was 650 763 0566. They gave me a different call back number, which I did not call back.

I contacted Google Support and they were able to verify that this was a scam call. This call went to my Google Voice number.

I know this may be off topic, but I figured that the more I get it out there, the less that people might be scammed by this.

Thanks for reporting and sharing it with other users, so no one is affected by such solicitation calls. Google is taking measures to protect its customers from robocallers or such scam calls.
