Hi all,

I have a couple of questions of what to expect once Assured Workloads for Government completes the beta phase:

1. Are there plans to charge for Assured Workloads (AW), or AW itself will continue to be free and the charge will only be for the regular GCP services used within AW?

2. Will access to AW be limited to government and government contractors, or will it remain open to all GCP users? (including all the compliance regimes, like FedRAMP and IL4)

Any insight on this is very much appreciated.

Hello,

Thank you for your question.
1. As you indicate Assured Workloads is still in beta, even though the products that are not charged in beta do not change their pricing when they go Generally Available, I cannot confirm in this case whether the pricing of Assured Workloads will stay the same in the future.
2. Assured Workloads is a new product that provides a compliance experience and advanced regulatory controls for your data in Google Cloud and it is targeted to both governmental and non-governmental (institutions and companies) that require high compliance requirements.

I hope this clears some doubts
