We added an application logo to OAuth consent screen, not being aware of the consequences of doing it (app with logo has to go through verification process if we mark it as "external").

How can we remove the application logo that we previously added?

There is no built-in feature to remove the logo from a consent screen as of now, but there is an open Feature Request that is currently in progress (without an ETA).

There are, however, community-made workarounds to remove the logo from your consent screen in the meantime, such as the one shown here. Whether these workarounds still work is not verified, as the underlying processes to edit the consent screen change. In case it’s feasible for your application to be migrated to a new project, it would be a more stable method for re-doing your OAuth consent screen.

I recommend you to subscribe to the public issue for the feature request, this way you receive an email each time there is any new update. Additionally, please notice the more stars the issue tracker has, the more likely it is to be implemented.
