For help: High latency when call GCP Speech to text API

Hi,

IHAC who used our sample code attached to call speech to text API, and found that the latency is 4-5 seconds.  The API is called from Android. and the sample code attached that . Could you please help to review it to find out whether there are any improvement that the customer can do? Thanks!
