Switching to "paid" support package for some time

Hi,

Is it possible to switch to a paid Google Cloud support package (like, Silver) for some time and then switch back to the free / non-paid state (bronze)?

You can update to various available support packages(which also includes Bronze level- Free), for your project through the cloud console. Follow the below steps:-

1. Sign in to the Cloud Platform Console and select a project. 
2. Open the left side menu and then select Support. 
3. On the support overview page, you can see the 'Upgrade' tab.
4. The different packages and features will be shown under this 'upgrade' tab, along with a button to activate one of the support packages.

Ok. Wasn't sure about the downgrade option, as the support page calls its option "Upgrade Support".

You could be able to switch between those support options mentioned under the 'upgrade' tab and for any further queries about your billing account or settings you can always reach the billing specialists as well.

You confuse me again. The page only gives me an option to switch between various support packages and doesn't show any way to opt-out of all "paid" packages and go back to the free-for-all Bronze package. That was the whole point of asking the question.

and for any further queries about your billing account or settings you can always reach the billing specialists as well.

I guess I'll have to try asking the official "billing specialists" about it.
