Hi,

Is anyone familiar with Google's Transfer Service for on-premises data?  Is it possible to make the path look private - RFC-1918 addressing and use a Direct Connect to Google versus Internet.

Thanks

It is possible to transfer data over RFC 1918 if you are using Cloud Interconnect, which removes the need of using public IP addresses.

Make sure that using Transfer Service for on-premises data fits your requirements of transferring Data to Cloud Storage.

There are also explicit instructions on how to setup your transfer service agents using private links here: https://cloud.google.com/storage-transfer/docs/on-prem-agent-details#direct-interconnect .

Once you have had a chance to try that, please do let us know if you run into any issues and we can try to help!
