Python Performance issue - bigtable client connection slow

Hi All, 

Using python code when i'm setting the client connection for the first time with the big table it's taking approx. 2 sec which is not the case with java. 

Due to this the performance is getting impacted. Has anyone faced this? any way to reduce the connection time?
