Cost for cross-continental replication

Hi,

I am trying to figure out the cost for doing  cross-continental replication. Does anyone know whether Bigtable replicates entire row or just the changed data in the "write" request?  I guess it will just ship the "write" request to the remote region like an event stream, but I cannot find any documentation on that.  It makes big difference on egress cost.
