Dear Bigtable users,

We're thrilled to let you know that we've just launched Cloud Bigtable in the Tokyo region (asia-northeast1)! You can deploy Cloud Bigtable instances in Tokyo now via either Cloud Console or the gcloud CLI tool.

Note that pricing in Tokyo is different from other pre-existing regions; please see the pricing page for details on Bigtable server node and storage pricing.

We are looking to bring Cloud Bigtable to every region where Google Cloud Platform is, and have big plans for regional expansion in 2018. If you would like to help prioritize Cloud Bigtable in specific regions, please fill out this interest form!
