Beta launch: Realtime notification for asset config changes
Cloud Asset Inventory now brings the realtime notification feature to Beta. This feature enables realtime config monitoring, for example, get notifications as soon as a firewall rule is changed for your web frontend, or an IAM policy binding in my production project is changed. The notifications are sent through Cloud Pub/Sub, you can then trigger actions from there. The example diagram below shows you how to monitor an IAM policy, and trigger email notification and Cloud Function function to revert the change when a gmail account is added to an IAM policy.
