to Google Civic Information API
Hi there,

We're in the process of building out a legislator tool by getting representative data of the state of Illinois. The data from the Civic API was working fine a few months ago when we started building it, but lately we've been having a few issues.

We tested a couple of addresses in this tool, but it keeps returning a "We don’t have any info on upcoming elections for this address yet.". Here is one of the addresses that we've been testing with: 280 Grant Avenue, Charleston, IL, USA.

We also noticed that this seems to be an issue for addresses outside of Chicago. If we try searching for 201 E Randolph St, Chicago, IL 60602, United States, the data returns fine.

We're searching specifically for `administrativeArea1` level so we have that in our query, but addresses outside of Chicago doesn't return any sort of data except for the address. If I remove that, it does return the right set of data, but there's some missing info that we need as well, like getting the district IDs based on the division ID. We're using the value of the division ID (`ocd-division/country:us/state:il/sldu:3`) and extracting the number at the end to determine the district ID. Is that the right way to go, or is there another route that we can take to get the district ID?

Mostly, we're wondering if this is because the data is being updated due to the upcoming elections? Or was there an update to the API which would require us to maybe update something on our end as well?

Thank you.
