Civic Information API — Data Coverage + Current Status

Hi everyone,

I’m developing a civic engagement app that relies on the Google Civic Information API. I wanted to confirm:

1. Is the Civic Information API still actively supported and updated?

2. What is the scope of election coverage right now (national, state, local)?

3. Are there known limitations in certain states/localities, or a list of jurisdictions currently contributing data feeds?

I’ve been able to pull the “elections” endpoint but I want to better understand what real-world coverage I can expect (e.g., will local elections like city council or mayoral races appear, or is it limited to state/federal contests?).
