Hello,
regarding FIDO support, I can't find a clear statement about which version of FIDO is supported by Google Titan Key. Could you confirm or not whether it supports FIDO 2.0 (WebAuthn and FIDO 2 CTAP), and only FIDO 1.0 (UAF)?

Kind Regards,
Cyril

Hi

From the Titan Security Key Help (click on Security key dongle), it says FIDO 2.0 is supported.

Hi,
thanks for the hint. However, this part is not that explicit to me, as it gives only generic instructions
for any security key, not specific to the Titan one, in my understanding. Indeed, this is the exact copy of the Google Account Help,
and FIDO2 is only mentioned here as an *alternative* to FIDO U2F in one of the requirement for using a security key to your Google account: (quote) Have a security key that [...] works with FIDO Universal 2nd Factor (U2F) or FIDO2. Doesn't mean it has to be the Titan key, nor that the Titan Key must support FIDO2 to work. If it supports only FIDO U2F, it should work as well.
Last, the note just below says (quote): "If you’re using a Titan Security Key from Google, ..." which confirms the impression that the previous paragraph was not meant for the Titan per se.

Anyway, if you tell me the Titan key does support FIDO2, but regardless of this doc, fair enough.

KR,
Cyril

I understand where your skepticism is stemming from. With that in mind, I do agree that the main documentation can be improved in regards to that particular piece of information. Therefore I have provided feedback in order to address this.
