I tried to debug javascript that is not in a js file, but in a
<script> tag in the html.
If I select the script from the list in the debugger, there is just
one long line with the whole html file.
You can check this out at my demo:
http://31.149.93.249/ate?cmd=site&page=apps
type 'balls' in the field 'Applicatie naam', and press 'starten'.
Then, you get to the page with the html. Select script 'ate' in the
debugger.
Thanks,
Zeerob.

There is a pretty print mode. It is a button with two curly braces ("{ }").
It is visible within the Scripts pane, at the bottom bar.
It will convert the code to be a pretty printed (multi-lined and indented) code and thus aid you with debugging it.

http://31.149.93.249/ate uses CR line endings which are not supported. Please use either LF or CR+LF.

Though pretty print is still working.

Yes, but line numbers are messed up.
