I've been tinkering around with building an extension to the developer tools (a new panel).  It appears the chrome.devtools.panels.create function only allows you to specify one icon for the panel.  Whereas the built-in panels have two icon sizes (24x24 & 32x32, switched when the toolbar is docked/undocked) and each has two states (normal, selected).  Is there any way to replicate this functionality with the new panel?

Thanks.

Hi Jason,

the icon you specify is actually interpreted as a 56x64 sprite consisting of 2x2 icons, with two 32x32 icons in the left column and two 24x24 icons in the right column. The 32x32 icons are used in undocked mode and 24x24 ones are used while docked. The upper icons are used when inactive and lower ones are displayed for "pressed" state.

Best regards,
Andrey.
