I love how Chrome Developer Tools breaks on a line of code that is
incorrect, and immediately highlights the line. But why does this not
happen for an uncaught exception, especially exceptions like TypeError
which is actually a syntax error? All I can get it to do is pause on
uncaught exceptions, which would be fine, if showed the line of code
it's paused on. Instead it just tells me there's a TypeError, and I
have to go searching for it... :/

Please help! I've already researched the Google pages for help, and
searched the Internet, but I cannot seem to find my answer.

Thanks,
Jason Doucette

Hi,

You need to go to the Scripts panel and tap a stop sign-like button on
the status bar to stop on all or uncaught exceptions. See the guide
here: http://code.google.com/chrome/devtools/docs/scripts-breakpoints.html.

Oh, I'm sorry, I've misread your email and have skipped the phrase
"All I can get it to do is pause on uncaught exceptions". Obviously,
you already know how to do that :)
