Inspector Stylesheet

I usually style my website using chrome dev tool. It's convenient to easily create CSS elements for classes, ID, etc. 

However in recent times, whenever I add styles using "New Style Rule" in "Elements" tab and apply properties (ex: color: red), it doesn't appear on the Inspector Stylesheet under "Source".

My chrome is Version 73.0.3683.103 (Official Build) (64-bit)

OS: Ubuntu 17
