I'm incredibly dissapointed to see the Profile tab disappear from the dev tools, to be replaced with the "Performance" tab.

The new tab is beyond slow.  We have an application that renders 60 fps, and before debugging issues in performance was easy with the Profiling tool.

Now, whenever I click on "Bottom-Up" or "Call Tree" - it takes over a minute to load those tabs.
Clicking on an element within those tabs sometimes takes up to 30 seconds.

Pretty ironic for a tool that's meant to help you analyze performance bottlenecks on your site.

You can search crbug.com for an existing issue and star it. If you cannot find one, file a new issue using the "New issue" link on the same page.
Please, do not add a "+1" or "Me too" or "Confirmed" (or similar) comment. It just wastes the time of Chrome engineers and sends unnecessary e-mails to all of the people who starred the issue.

You can reply with a link to the found or created issue and might get triaged (and fixed) faster.

Thank you.

I haven't seen slowdown like this.

If you can submit a bug and provide a page where the team can reliably reproduce the issue, that would be very helpful.

The JavaScript CPU Profiler (from the Profiles tab) is still available. Open the Command Menu and enter "Show JavaScript Profiler".

Thanks Kayce for pointing out where I could re-enable the tool.
